  1. A common breed with those distinguished markings is the British Shorthair.

    But keep in mind:
    "A tabby is a cat with a distinctive coat that features stripes, dots and/or swirling patterns. Tabbies are often mistakenly assumed to be a breed of cat. In fact, the tabby pattern is a naturally occurring feature that may be the original coloration of the domestic cat’s distant ancestors. Tabby coloration is found in many breeds of cat, as well as among the general ‘moggy’ (mixed-breed or mongrel) population."

  3. If your cat has stripes, it is a "tabby." (Some people call these "tiger cats.") All tabbies have thin pencil lines on the face, expressive markings around the eyes, and a tabby "M" on the forehead. There are four different tabby patterns: mackerels, classics, spotted and ticked. Tabbies come in many different colors. You can tell what color a tabby is by looking at the color of its stripes and its tail tip. The color of the agouti hairs (the "ground color") may vary tremendously from cat to cat, some cats may have a washed out gray ground color and others will have rich orange tones.

    Then you have to determine if its a "shorthair", "mediumhair" or "long hair" cat.

  6. mines like that shes a black and silver tabby but that doesn’t make it a breed shes half Siamese half tabby shes soooo cute
