i am looking to buy a Ragdoll kitten, but where can i find one?

Your best bet is googling ,”ragdoll breeder(s) Philadelphia” or “Ragdoll cattery Philadelphia”

Make sure you do research on who and how to pick a reputable breeder. Some will con you into buying a sick kitten and it’s just horrible. Be careful please.

Hi i rescued my sphynx cat from a rescue place. He is gentle, friendly and everything you could ever want. When i got him she told me that the old owner must of not gave him regular baths and it caused oil to build up on him. And so it has, ive been giving him bath after bath and he is blue tuxedo in color and i can not get that grease like color off of him. Its accumolated around his eyes and on his spine, the sad part is its getting worse and i give him baths every 5 days with baby body wash. What am i doing wrong? How do i get this nasty gunk to leave his skin? I tried googling it and nothing. Any body have an idea?

I’d take him to the vet, and ask his opinion on what you need to do. He may have a better shampoo that you can use.

to be honest, i do not believe in quizzes or tests.. to determine which breed(s) are best suited for you
just talk to yourself or write down what you’d expect in a dog, wuold you want an active dog or laid back?, eager to please or average?.. best friend who follows you everywhere or best friend but you don’t mind leaving him behind?.. small or large?.. long hair or short hair?.. what kind of lifestyle do you have like .. do you live an appartment or average sized house or country?. ect…….

Question by chloe: if my dad is allergic to normal cats, are siberian cats okay?
I am 13 and my dad is allergic to cats. Recently, I heard about siberian cats, and their hypoallergenic fur. Is it still safe to have one if my dad is allergic to the liquid when they yawn? Or do they not have that?

Also, how much is prices for most siberian cats??

my mom is allergic to the cat oils in the skin. if it’s a cat, then he’s probably allergic to it. if i were you, i wouldn’t give it a chance. even the hypoallergenic cats can make her sick. they r also VERY expensive. we have cats who live outside. they don’t bother her much. they r great if u have a rat problem. u can always try that.

my dog….theadora…likes my brother more than she likes me. why is this? is it cause i pick her up all the time adntreat her like a toy? You obviously already kow the answer to your question = you pick her up and “kinda throw her around” – no dog likes that, it is scary and can hurt her.

Play with her gently, let her sit on your lap when she wants – not when you grab her. Give her loving attention, not scary attention.

Bet she likes you a lot better if you treat her like a living, feeling entity, not a stuffed toy.

Don’t be mean to an innocent creature, even in play = it is animal abuse.

Question by 44magnum: Can frontline plus for large dogs be used on my cats?
Ebay has sellers selling large dog frontline plus flea control to be used on cats. They provide a small vial to store the frontline in and a syringe to administer the correct amount, 0.5ml for cats. The large dog frontline contains 4ml so you get 8 doses for cats. My question is, does the dog frontline plus contain the same ingredients as cat frontline plus and is it safe for my cats? Thanks!

No, you should never use a product made for dogs on a cat, especially a product made for large dogs. The dosing/strength/concentrations would be incorrect and can make the cat seriously ill or cause death. Bad! Bad! Idea.

My Wiener dog has been acting very wierd lately. Her symptoms are – Muscle stiffness, Shivering, week back legs, a weezing moan (worse than usual – She is a little overwieght), hard for her to get up steps, and unable to get comfortable. What is your opinion?

Question by Serena: How do I get my cat to start using the cat tree?
I recently bought my cat a cat tree since he’s been using my table leg as his post and the spray bottle method wasn’t working. I put the tree right next to the table leg in hopes of moving him over gradually… but it’s taking him forever. He occasionally scratches at it but is there anything else I can do to make him use it more quickly?
