I have an outdoor cat, she has always been an outdoor cat except when she was fixed and had to heel she was indoors. She started off being a Ferrel cat and now she is so sweat and is definitely my cat, so she will be moving with us. The thing is like I said she is an outdoor cat and I am worried about the move and getting her acclimated to the new place, that has so much more yard for her, so that she doesn’t run away and find her way back to where we use to live. Any ideas.

  1. Maybe the first time she’s outdoors be out there with her. I’ve not had a cat have a problem knowing their environment as long as they knew where their next meal is coming from.

  3. Most poeple do agradual change to take no chances. If she was indoors there would be far less chance of her trying to return "home", but she is outdoors, so do yourself a favour and keep her indoors for two weeks, then have one week where you take her outside in your arms once a day and another week where you take her outside on a leash so she gets used to the area, smells, etc.
